The Ridley-Klucken Home

The Ridley-Klucken Home is a 5,000-square-foot, 5 BR, seven BA home that was completely remodeled with a mixture of traditional and modern elements.  The home was a gift to Jamie Klucken and her mother, Connie Ridley, following her father’s terminal diagnosis with ALS a few years ago.  Sadly, Mr. Ridley lost his battle with ALS before the house renovations were completed, but his wife and daughter intend the home to be his legacy:  an oasis where family members from around the country can gather together year after year.  The home features calm paint tones, matte white oak flooring, and hickory doors for a warm and cozy atmosphere.  The kitchen features stunning marble countertops, and a novel layered painting technique was used on the cabinetry to beautiful effect.  Massive windows in every part of the home offer expansive lake views and call the outside in.  Jamie and her parents understand that the Home’s outside gathering spaces are the true gem of this home, where family can come together and reconnect.  From the screened porches to the infinity pool, hot tub, firepits, and, of course, the lake, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa will forever be remembered.
