Rest Stops are “oases” along the Tour route where visitors can enjoy food, drinks, and a chance to sit and savor the beauty of SML in the fall. We are working on getting our 2020 Rest Stops and will post them here soon. Below are the Rest Stops for the 2019 tour.

These are some of the area’s favorite spots, sure to add to your Charity Home Tour experience. Look for the distinctive blue and white Home Tour Rest Stop signs in front of our stops during Tour weekend.
CJ’s Coffee & Sandwich Shop, 213 Scruggs Road, Moneta. 540-488-4223. CJ’s is more than just coffee. All of our sandwiches and salads are made-to-order with fresh ingredients and Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. We offer locally roasted and fresh brewed coffees and delightful desserts baked daily. Try one of our specialty drinks or breakfast sandwiches featuring NY bagels. Everything is made-to-order fresh. You can dine in, take out, or visit our drive-thru window. Come for the coffee, stay for the friends.
EastLake Community Church, 1118 Hendricks Store Road, Moneta. 540-297-0966. EastLake Community Church has been serving Smith Mountain Lake since 2006. Our vision is to multiply believers, leaders and churches. For the weekend of the Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour, we welcome visitors with a clean oasis for beverages, hospitality, and restroom facilities. We are honored to share our SML home with our Home Tour guests and would welcome your return to EastLake in the future.
Magnum Point Marina, 2200 Old Salem School Road, Union Hall. South of channel marker B 37. 540-576-3001. Open daily from 8 am to 9 pm. Magnum Point Marina is a veteran-owned, full service marina located on the beautiful Blackwater River side of Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County. They offer covered boat slips, boat/personal watercraft rentals, inflatable rentals, a full-service restaurant with on-the-water delivery, beer and wine, live bait, fishing supplies, ship store and service center with trained mechanics.
Napoli Cowboy, 6674 Burnt Chimney Road, Wirtz. 540-238-2142. Open Friday 11 am to 9 pm, Saturday-Sunday 9 am to 9 pm. As their slogan states, “Where the tastes of Italy and Texas collide,” Napoli Cowboy offers homemade Italian sauces and pasta as well as Texas chili, smoked ribs, fantastic steaks and nightly specials. Check their Facebook page for menus and specials. With its commitment to fresh, seasonal ingredients and a friendly, caring staff, Napoli Cowboy has become a Smith Mountain Lake favorite.
Old Oak Café, 400 Scruggs Road, Moneta. 540-719-3388. Open Friday – Saturday 7 am to 9 pm, Sunday 8 am to 2 pm. The Old Oak Café was established as a community watering-hole of sorts… a place where folks could gather and enjoy a good meal in comfortable surroundings. No fancy dress required, pleasant décor, and real home-style food that is priced right. Your hosts, Annie and Jo-Ann, are friends who share a common philosophy – do things right, give people what they want, and do it with a smile. With over 60 years of combined restaurant experience, they take good old-fashioned home cooking to a new level.
Ramulose Ridge Vineyards, 3601 Hendricks Store Road, Moneta. 540-314-2696. Tasting room open daily 1 pm to 6 pm. Jim and Sandi’s interest in making wine started more than 20 years ago, and after Sandi studied enology online through UC Davis, it only made sense to build a vineyard and winery at their beautiful property at Smith Mountain Lake. For the Home Tour, they are offering cheese platters and wine for purchase, along with cold water, crackers, pretzels, and peanuts. They are continuing their Home Tour tradition of offering complimentary wine tastings for people who present their Charity Home Tour tickets.

A family owned and operated business with family recipes, preparing homemade food to order in the deli at Red Rock Store. Serving breakfast and lunch – call ahead for orders to go.
