To provide supervised day care services to frail or functionally impaired adults and to offer respite services and caregiver support. To improve the quality of life for health-impaired adults and their family caregivers in the Central Virginia community.
To reflect God’s love by giving of ourselves and our resources as we submit to the leadership of the Holy Sprit to mentor and help individuals turn or return to a Christ-centered life.
Bedford Pregnancy Center
The evangelical outreach of the Bedford Pregnancy Center cares for women in pregnancy-related situations by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, empowering them to choose life.
Free Clinic of Franklin County
Free Clinic of Franklin County is a charitable organization, founded on the belief that everyone should have access to quality, affordable, primary health care- regardless of their socio-economic status. Our vision is to create a healthier community by improving our patients’ health through excellence in meeting their primary health care needs, disease prevention, and wellness promotion in the community.
Henry Fork Service Center
The mission of Henry Fork Service Center to share God’s love with the children, youth, and adults in the Henry Fork community by nurturing and transforming the mind, body and spirit. Current programs include preschool activities for children of Franklin Center GED student and afterschool and summer programs for elementary and middle school students that include academic enrichment and tutoring, arts enrichment, Christian education and indoor and outdoor recreation.
SML Good Neighbors. Inc.
To develop good neighbors skills and values in children through programs that nourish, educate and support them, while providing lif-changing experiences for college students through leadership development internships.
To provide exceptional services for people seeking to improve their quality of life through community, economic, personal and family development.
The Franklin County YMCA
The YMCA is a charitable association dedicated to building healthy spirit, mind, and body. The Franklin County Family YMCA is an association of members, volunteers, contributors, and staff, putting Christian principles into practice through programs that promote healthy lifestyles, strong families, positive youth development, community strength, and international understanding. Ys are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages, and incomes.
