BEDFORD CHRISTIAN FREE CLINIC, INC. (Bedford)

The purpose of the Bedford Christian Free Clinic, a church sponsored, non-profit organization, is to provide medical, pharmaceutical, and health education services to the residents of Bedford City and Bedford County to promote improved health for those who otherwise could not afford care.

BEDFORD HOSPICE HOUSE, INC. (Bedford)

The mission of Bedford Hospice House, Inc. is to provide a homelike atmosphere for those end-of life patients who are in need of receiving hospice care and services outside their own homes. It is the goal of Bedford Hospice House, Inc. to provide care with respect, comfort, and compassion for those on life’s final journey.

FREE CLINIC OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, INC. (Rocky Mount

The mission of the Free Clinic of Franklin County is to provide quality medical care for uninsured families of the poor, the working poor, and the elderly on fixed incomes.

HELPING HANDS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY (Rocky Mount)

The mission of Helping Hands of Franklin County is to provide for the emergency needs of the people of Franklin County.

LAKE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES (Moneta)

Lake Christian Ministries (LCM) provides emergency financial aid, food, clothing, and other household items to individuals and families living in the Smith Mountain Lake area of Bedford, Franklin, and Pittsylvania Counties. Our clients are unable to obtain the critical medical, food, and housing expenses they need due to unemployment, illness, family disruptions or other unexpected occurrences. Providing these essentials in a loving and Christian atmosphere is the foundation of our mission.

LYNCHBURG DAILY BREAD (Lynchburg)

The mission of Lynchurg Daily Bread is to provide a shelter where individuals in need can be fed nutritious meals at no cost in a Christian atmosphere. Additionally, the Daily Bread serves as a place for social interaction with each other and the community volunteers in a compassionate manner and setting.

ROANOKE VALLEY INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK (Salem)

The mission of the Roanoke Valley Interfaith Hospitality Network is to lmobilize faith communities to return homeless families to independence by providing skills development and temporary housing.

SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS (Moneta)

SML Good Neighbors, through a united church and community effort, seeks to develop good neighbor skills and values in children through programs that nourish, educate, and support them, and encourages college interns to pursue service careers.
